Rebecca W. Lambert, M.D. is a Board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon.
She grew up in Massachusetts and attended college at Harvard University. She worked for two years at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute before attending medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at St Vincents Hospital in New York’s Greenwich Village before starting her residency in dermatology at Cornell University’s New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where she served as chief resident. During a postresidency fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, she removed more than one thousand skin cancers using the Mohs surgery technique.
Jonathan E. Sonne, M.D. is fellowship trained and board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
He is one of a small group of surgeons that has achieved Dual Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Sonne grew up in Connecticut and attended Oberlin College. He attended medical school at New York Medical College where he was the president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Sonne went on to an internship in General Surgery at St. Vincents Hospital in Manhattan and continued his surgical subspecialty training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Kathryn J. Russell, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon.
Dr. Russell grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami with a major in Biology and minors in Business Administration, Chemistry, and Psychology. During this time, she performed research in the Department of Dermatology and is included as an inventor on a patent. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida and went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine from the University of California San Diego. She finished her dermatology residency at New York Medical College in New York City, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident in her final year. She completed a fellowship in Mohs and Cosmetic Procedural Dermatology at the Skin Institute of South Florida which is dual certified by the American College of Mohs Surgery and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Russell joined The Woodruff Institute in 2014 and focuses on procedural dermatology including Mohs Surgery, skin cancer management, and non-invasive cosmetic procedures such as lasers, fillers, and neuromodulators. She has performed over 7,500 Mohs procedures. She is honored to be named as one of Naples Illustrated Top Doctors and Gulfshore Life/ Castle Connolly Top Doctors. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (FACMS), and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Collier and Lee Medical Societies.
Stephen H. Ducatman, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and has been in practice for thirty years. Dr. Ducatman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails as well as cutaneous surgery.
Originally from New Jersey, he graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology, with cum laude honors. He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine from Roger Williams General Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, before completing his dermatology training at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital.
In addition to practicing dermatology, Dr. Ducatman served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine/Dermatology at the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles from 1985-2004, and was voted Teacher of the Year five times during his tenure. He has a passion for teaching, amateur geology, bird watching, golfing, and is the proud owner of twin Cavalier King Charles spaniels and a beaming grandfather to his grandson, Jack. He speaks some Spanish (with a New Jersey accent).
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Collier and Lee County Medical Societies.
Dr. Craig J. Eichler
Craig J. Eichler, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and has been in practice since 1993. Dr. Eichler specializes in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Eichler graduated as valedictorian from Boca Raton Community High School. After completing his undergraduate studies at Emory University, he received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Florida, before receiving his dermatology training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Eichler is a past president of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (2005) and honored as the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Practitioner of the Year Award in 2012. He also was voted “Best Doctors of South Florida” in Miami Metro Magazine in October 1998, “Americas Top Doctors” and “How to Find the Best Doctors: Florida” by Castle Connolly Medical LTD in 2000 and 2002-2014.
Dr. Sarah E. Churton
Sarah E. Churton, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University if Richmond, VA and her medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, OH. Prior to starting her residency, she completed a dermatopharmacology research fellowship with a focus in psoriasis research and clinical trials. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Churton strives for excellence in all aspects of patient care. Her professional interests also include the treatment of psoriasis and immunobullous diseases. She is currently accepting new patients in our Bonita Springs location.
Dr. Frances M. Hernandez
Frances M. Hernandez, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
She received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Puerto Rico, graduating magna cum laude from both and finishing in the top ten of her medical class. She completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico, where she served as Chief Resident and later joined the faculty as Assistant Professor.
Bobbi G. Brady, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Brady was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts. She received her medical degree with honors from New York University where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Norwalk Hospital, an affiliate hospital of Yale University School of Medicine. She then completed her dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she served as chief resident.
She enjoys traveling, animal rescue volunteerism, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family. She is delighted to return to her hometown and is currently accepting new patients at our North Naples and Downtown Naples locations.
Tina C. Venetos, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who specializes in complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Venetos has been in private practice in the northern Chicago suburbs since 1996. She attended Loyola University of Chicago, graduating with highest honors in 1986. She then attended University of Illinois College of Medicine and graduated in 1990. After completing an Internal Medicine residency at Evanston Hospital, she completed her dermatology residency from the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Venetos practices general and cosmetic dermatology for all ages. With a particular interest in skin cancer prevention and early detection, she has organized multiple educational events and skin cancer screenings for her communities. She emphasizes patient education and a treatment plan suitable for each patient. She offers a medically-based approach to skin care combined with close attention to aesthetics. She is dedicated to help you achieve younger, healthier looking skin. Dr. Venetos’ goal as a dermatologist is to provide her patients with the finest professional medical skin care possible. She also attends various seminars and has a special interest and certification in cosmetic and laser procedures providing breakthrough treatments to revitalize and rejuvenate her patients. In addition to treating various skin conditions, Dr. Venetos offers state of the art procedures and specializes in injectables such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Kybella, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra and Bellafill. Dr. Heather Pontasch
Dr. Heather Pontasch is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She will be joining The Woodruff Institute in July of 2022.
She grew-up in Cedar Falls, Iowa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Luther College with a bachelor of arts in Biology and English. While at Luther, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national fraternity. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine where she was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her Internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and went on to complete her Dermatology residency at University of Michigan.
Dr. Pontasch served as a sub-investigator in clinical psoriasis research while in residency. She also worked to establish a free Dermatology clinic with her fellow residents during her tenure. She has participated in medical missions to Tanzania and Mexico. Dr Pontasch has been a lifelong visitor of Naples, Fl and loves living in this community with her husband and two young children.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and the Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Stephan M. Levitt
Stephan M. Levitt, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
Originally from Rochester, NY, he received his bachelor’s degree in biology summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He continued his education at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine where he received his M.D. and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After two years of training in pathology at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, he completed a three-year residency in dermatology at the MetroHealth Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Levitt is a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. He established a successful private practice in dermatology in Nashua, New Hampshire where he lived for 25 years before moving to Florida in 2006. He continued to practice in several offices on the west coast of Florida and has most recently joined The Woodruff Institute for Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery.
Tiffany B. Jordan, PA-C
Tiffany joins The Woodruff Institute with over 8 years of experience working as a Dermatology Physician Assistant, including General and Cosmetic Dermatology.
She grew up in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Sciences with cum laude honors. She attended the University of Florida College of Medicine where she received her Master in Physician Assistant Studies. Tiffany is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She specializes in skin cancer detection and prevention, cosmetics including Botox, Fillers, and Lasers.
Sofia is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who has specialized in Dermatology since 2011.
Sofia graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular Biology. She received her Masters Degree in Health Sciences from Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program, which was the first Physician Assistant program in the country, and continues to be one of the top-ranked programs in the U.S. During her PA training at Duke, she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society, and won 1st place in the PAEA National Student Writing Competition with her thesis.
Sofia relocated to the D.C. area after practicing in Pediatrics for four years in Florida and Texas. In 2011, she was trained in medical and cosmetic Dermatology in the D.C. area and has been enjoying the field ever since. Sofia recently moved to South Florida and is grateful to be back by the water. Sofia loves spending time with her husband and three young children. She enjoys traveling and has explored Europe and Taiwan. Sofia and her husband are foodies and coffee lovers, who will travel for both. She enjoys running and has run in the Army 10 Miler as well as a half marathon. Her goal is to complete a full marathon.
Debora comes to the practice with a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Notre Dame College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
She completed her Bachelor of Science at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. In addition, she has a Professional Certificate from Larner College of Medicine, University of Vermont, as an End of Life Doula.
She is a licensed physician assistant in both Florida and Arizona. She has been a nationally certified physician assistant for 19 years. She has worked in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Addiction Medicine, Pain Management and Family/Generic Medicine.
She specializes in skin cancer detection and prevention, cosmetics, including Botox, fillers and lasers. She also enjoys discussing anti-aging daily regimes with her patients.
Jennifer Rice is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant who joined The Woodruff Institute in 2019 because of her passion and interest in skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.
She specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology, treating both children and adults. She enjoys discussing skin health and creating a partnership with patients in the treatment of skin concerns. Jenn treats a variety of skin disorders including skin cancers, hair loss, acne, warts, scars, psoriasis, and eczema.
Jenn’s journey into medicine began as a firefighter/paramedic 20 years ago. She attended South University and received a degree as a physician assistant in 2005 and subsequently earned a Masters’s degree from the University of Nebraska with a focus on dermatology studies. Jenn spent the next 14 years practicing medicine, 12 years in dermatology in Nevada, Virginia, and Florida, with additional practice experience specializing in allergy and immunology, primary care, and functional medicine. She is fellowship-trained and board-certified with the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
Sarah is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology since 2007.
She obtained her Master’s of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Sarah graduated from the University of Virginia with her Bachelor’s in Arts and Science, majoring in Psychology with a minor in American Politics. Sarah is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric dermatology disorders. She is certified and trained to perform both cosmetic and medical laser procedures. Sarah also enjoys using her skills to inject botox, dysport and dermal fillers to achieve facial rejuvenation.
She is an affiliate of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Sarah previously lived and worked in Jupiter, FL but has spent the last three years enjoying city life in Washington, DC. She is happy to be back in the sunshine state. In her spare time she enjoys traveling. Her biggest trip was three years ago when her and her husband took a trip around the world for four months and climbed to Everest Base Camp!
Rachel Coughlin, BSN
Rachel Coughlin has been the Practice Administrator for The Woodruff Institute since 2013.
A native of sunny Southwest Florida, Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Rachel has worked in the healthcare field for over twenty years and specializes in all areas of practice management. She enjoys using her clinical knowledge, patient care experience, and management skills to help support The Woodruff Institute in providing the highest quality medical and aesthetic care to the people of Southwest Florida.
Rachel is happily married with one son. In her spare time, she enjoys arts & crafts, party planning, karaoke, boating and spending time in the Florida sun… with extra sunscreen of course!
Amy Buzzell, Aesthetician
Amy started her career as an Aesthetician in 2003 after earning her Aesthetics license from the Florida Academy of Massage and Skincare.
Over the past 11 years Amy has worked in the Spa Industry and has chosen to expand her career into medical aesthetics with The Woodruff Institute.
Amy is specially educated and trained in many aspects of skincare including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, product knowledge and more. As an accomplished Makeup Artist and freelance event artist with Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics, Amy has experience with every day, fashion and wedding makeup as well as medical camouflaging.
Amy’s passion for skin, health and wellness has transformed her into the Aesthetician she is today. Amy loves to give each patient a unique personalized experience with reparative results suited to your specific needs! She uses highly effective treatments along with massage techniques designed to release the muscles giving you an experience that will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and restored with brighter, healthier skin!
Ariane studied professional esthetics at Florida Academy where she received her Full Specialist and Body Wrapping license. Mandi Hampton, Licensed Aesthetician, completed her aesthetics training in January 1999.
She attended educational practicums through the Jewish Hospital Plastic Surgery Center and taught esthetics through PJs College in Indiana before moving to Southwest Florida in early 2021.
Mandi has a passion for corrective skincare, health, and wellness. She is a goal-oriented specialist who is program-focused on treating each patient’s specific needs offering facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, acne treatments, anti-aging treatments, micro-needling, etc.
Mandi has three children. The beach is her happy place and enjoys travel, meditation and hula hooping.
Sharon Panella, licensed aesthetician, has over twenty years of experience in the field of medical grade aesthetic treatments and over ten years teaching experience.
As a trained medical aesthetician and master educator of skin care, Sharon can ensure a safe and results-oriented skin care treatment plan. Sharon has comprehensive experience in all major areas of aesthetics, including: Customized facials, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Chemical peels (including glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid peels), Anti-aging programs, Acne programs and Facial waxing
Sharon uses these techniques to personalize treatments for her clients, so they leave feeling deeply relaxed and restored with healthy glowing skin. As a specialized aesthetician at The Woodruff Institute, she works closely with the medical physicians and physician assistants to provide high quality, state of the art facial services. Her goal is to ensure each client receives expert advice and results-oriented treatments that are customized to each client’s unique skin care needs.
Martha joined The Woodruff Institute in 2015. She is our JuVaShape and Photodynamic (PDT) Blue Light therapy technician in our Naples location. She started her career in dermatology in 2012, and joined The Woodruff Institute with an extensive background in aesthetics, retail, and customer service. She offers customized JuVaShape treatment plans tailored to her patient’s specific needs and goals and is passionate about giving her patients the best care possible. With her extensive product knowledge, Martha is able to recommend effective at-home regimens to help her patients maintain desired results after their JuVashape treatments. She is now accepting new clients.
