Q. When is Mohs Surgery indicated to treat a skin cancer?
A. Mohs surgery is indicated for non-melanoma skin cancers that have been treated previously and recurred, are in an area where it is important to preserve healthy tissue for maximum functional and cosmetic result (such as eyelids, nose, ears, lips), or has borders that cannot be clearly defined.
